Out-Transmit Metering Skid
An out-transmit metering skid, also known as a distribution metering skid or commercial metering skid, calculates the amount of oil or gas that has been transferred through the metering skid. Our Out-Transmit Metering Skid consists of a metering skid (a steel frame on which portable equipment is mounted to facilitate handling with cranes or flatbed trucks, which is usually designed with attachment points for hooks, chains, or cables, and has at least two lengthwise beams to facilitate sliding the equipment into place on the rig site), a flow computer, which consists of multi-purpose valves, skid mounted, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) control system, and the gas and flow measuring equipment. A PRC control system is a control device that can be programmed to control processes or machine operations. It consists of five basic components: a processor, memory, input/output modules, power supply, and the programming device. They are used in many industries such as oil refineries, manufacturing lines and conveyor systems. This metering skid functions automatically without the need for attendant personnel.
